Winter must haves

 Hi Loves!

I don't know about the weather where you are, but over here it is freeezing! -5 degrees celcius with a feeling of -11 (-20 to me). In this cold it is extra necessary to take good care of your skin. So here are my favourite winter must haves for my face, hands and lips.

Estée Lauder Daywear: This is one of the best creams I have ever used on my face. This cream is for normal/combination skin (pick the one that matches your skin). It has SPF 15 and has a light cucumber scent to it. This cream leaves my skin soft, hydrated, doesn't feel thick on your skin, but leaves the skin shining and feeling smooth. Although this product is very creamy, it absorbs perfectly into the skin. I usually use this cream in combination with Estée Lauder Idealist pore minimizing skin refinisher, which you apply before the cream, but because I ran out and wanted to try a different brand I am currently using the L'Oréal youth code luminizer.

L'Oréal youth code luminizer: This serum, just like the one I usually use from Estée Lauder is perfect to make your irregular skin tone more even and give it a healthy luminous glow. This serum contains vitamin Cg and not only makes the skin look silky soft, but it also feels that way and reduces the irregular pigmentation beneath the skin. I apply this serum before I apply my day cream to make my skin looking and feeling fresh even in this skin drying winter!

Chanel Précision Body Excellence hand cream: This product is my all time favourite hand cream. The revitalizing formula nourishes and rejuvenates the skin. The licorice extract helps to improve the clarity of your skin and the pro-vitamin B5 helps to condition the cuticles and coat the nails. This hand cream leaves the skin extremely soft and moisturised. Perfect for winter! Very creamy, but absorbs nicely into the skin. And the scent of this cream is simply divine. As all Chanel products it's a little bit on the pricey side, but definitely very much worth it.

Sephora hand candy: This hand cream is perfect if you don't like the feeling of a thicker cream on your hands. This product is very light weight but ultra nourishing. What I also love about this product is that it's dermatologically tested and has no parabens in the formula. The cream contains a purifying ingredient that removes pollution on the skin's surface. I also love the fresh scent and how it leaves the skin oil free but hydrated and soft.

Labello fruity shine lipbalm: I've been using lipbalms by Labello for as long as I can remember. They're moisturizing, they smell good, look cute and are easy to throw in your purse, pant pocket, jacket pockets, you name it. This one is in the pink guava scent and has a slight shimmer to it. If you apply it generously it will make your lips super soft and give it a lovely pink gloss. Honestly I keep applying this all through the day because I love the scent so much and how it hydrates the lips. It is made of tropical pink guava and has a SPF 10 factor in it. I have like 5 of these laying everywhere so I always have it with me. Perfect for keeping the lips smooth, soft, hydrated and with a charming pink shimmer!

Smith's Rosebud Salve: I've always had this in a little round tin container, but discovered this very popular balm came in a little tube as well! I'm definitely a big fan of the tube, because I think it's more hygienic than the tin container. This product has been popular for over a 100 years. It's not only for the lips but as Vaseline it can be used for light burn wounds, dry elbows and knees and a chafed nose in the winter, among other things. This product is perfect for dry lips, keeps them moisturised and ads a slight shine to the lips. I always apply this before I apply my lipstick or lip gloss. The soft balm contains cotton seed oil and lots of other special oils like rose flower oil. This is what also gives it the lovely rose scent. Smith's Rosebud Salve is a definite must have.

And for my body overall I like to use a body butter by The Body shop in the winter or a cream by Dove. But anything hydrating and extra creamy will do for your skin not to crack and dry out by the cold. And of course keep drinking lots of water or in my case a hot cup of tea! What are some of your winter must haves?!
